You can see and experience baby jumbos wondering around their orphanage and how they are bottle fed & taken for a bath by their foster fathers. This is a place where you see elephants very closely and this is an unforgettable experience. If you could be there at 09.00am you can see the feeding session of baby elephants and bathing session. Within 2, 3 hours you can cover the Pinnawala sightseeing. After visiting the orphanage you will be taken to the elephant riding place to take elephant back ride. The Victoria Park, in the middle of the town, is a lovely place for a stroll or a picnic and is also good for Birding as you get some rare birds in this Park.
